Ball of wool...
I was dawdling around east london over the weekend and came across an extraordinary exhibition by polish artist Agata Olek which I thought would be interesting to share with you all...
The exhibition is a bedroom including a bed, chairs, a cot, a rocking horse, mannequins and even a shopping trolley completely crocheted over in multi-colour (very SS12) wool to complete the affect you see above.
The walls and floor are also covered with acrylic wool, which feature a  series of text messages from former lovers.  Artist Agata has satated: ‘It is not just another apartment installation – it is the reflection of life, love, trust and lust in current time.’

What I found most interesting about the exhibition is how people today can express themselves in such diverse fashions.

The exhibition at Tony’s Gallery in Brick Lane, East London, ends on March 23 so if you fancy something a little bit different head on down...

Fashion & Interiors inspired by the Theatre...

Fashion and Interiors inspired by the theatre and stage are a huge passion of mine, I will be blogging my links, images of fun and inspiratrion and sharing them with you all.
From a contrasting point of view to a lot of my BAPP colleagues, without physically performing, theatre still plays a large part of my life - for me this is a really interesting concept and i'm excited to learn from new inspirations on the course, utilising my previous knowledge and current experience down a contrasting avenue.  I am very new to the blogging world, so please bear with me, but I hope if you're reading you enjoy my blogs...life is a fancy dress party...grab your disco pants!!

Have a read of these amazing blogs if theatre and fashion inspire you...there is a wealth of knowledge and humour collaborated to form a fantasic read!

My crush for this week...Jeffrey Campbells's Prima Ballerina ballet pumps new for SP12, launch in February - dramatic, theatrical and uber on trend!

1st Campus Session
Our first campus session was lead by advisor, Adesola Akinleye.  It took me a little while to gain a  complete understanding of the course and what was exactly being asked of us, I was advised by colleagues to not get stuck in a rut - over complicating and over anyalysing things, and start getting on with the tasks in hand. Over time I was assured this would further my knowledge and stand me in good stead for future tasks, so this is what I have every intention of doing.
After the introductions to the course advisors and fellow BAPP colleagues, we discussed the tasks for Module 1 and how to get set up and blogging!  We were asked to group up and provide individual views of what the 1st campus session had meant for us in terms of where we'd come from, and where we want to be with regards to completing the BAPP's course.  My group came up with the concept of how we are all individual professionals meeting up with inital ideas of what we want from the course and where we would like to be after completing the degree, paths will inevitably cross, different ideas are created and brought to the table, influenced by others.  It's somewhat like the london underground, you get on at 1 stop, heading directly for your final destintion, but influences throughout the next year will enable you to get to your final destination via a number of different routes, gathering experiences along your journey.
